I remember one time I came to Diane’s house back in 2009 when she did an enormous amount of effort to get out of her wheelchair just to get me fresh flowers from the garden. She didn’t want me to go back home empty handed…Rest in peace my dear friend!

  2. Diane, we were only neighbors for a couple of years but in that time I became quite fond of you and considered you my best friend. Thank you for the wonderful moments shared talking about our children.

  3. Ms. Lewis, I had you for a teacher 20 years ago and your classroom changed my life. I am forever grateful for the time you spent helping me through my adolescence. Had it not been for you, I never would of pursued a career in the arts. And I have you to thank!

We miss you at the garden club as you had the greenest thumb of any of us. Your kindness and wit are missed as well. We will tend to your garden since you’re away now. We love you and miss your voice and smile.

  5. I remember how popular you were in high school and how Mike used to carry your books to school for you. I was always so envious of you and Mike and know how happy you were together. What a beautiful relationship the two of you had together.
