In loving memory of Joseph Sakach
An inspiration, a devoted father and husband, a beloved high school professor.
You were my catalyst. You showed the world to me. You taught me to love the arts, walk the world with eyes wide open, to seize each and every day. You made every day an adventure. You were my best friend. My role model. There is so much of you that remains in me. And I have shared your passion and you wisdom with your grandchild who you did not get to meet. As a teacher, you touched the lives of others, and you made the world a better place with your passion and your grace. There is not a day that goes by that I do not miss your presence. 33 years later and it seems like yesterday that we were listening to music in NYC, laughing, and drinking too much wine.
P.S. I have finally found my soulmate and I know that you would love her. Because we have the same depth of conversation that you and I used to have. Paul
